This new release from Clase Azul titled Día de Muertos 2025 continues the Nuestros Recuerdos collection, celebrating Mexico’s iconic holiday. The Master Distiller has crafted an ultra-premium tequila that was aged for 26 months in American whiskey casks and finished in Scotch whisky casks.
The decanter comes in a rich plum / deep violet glaze, and features a 24-karat gold-plated ornament of a dancing Catrina accordionist, whose limbs are articulated to suggest movement and rhythm.
TASTING NOTES
• Nose - Honey, peat smoke, nutmeg and dried plum
• Taste - Peat smoke, honey and cinnamon with hints of chocolate that linger
• Finish - Smoky finish
